Visit terms and conditions

The visit will be at your own risk. The owners, operators and / or their employees cannot be held responsible for any accidents, physical or material damage, and or theft of personal belongings.

Access to the exhibition spaces

Only with a valid admission ticket and, if applicable, the card or voucher that entitles you to a possible discount on admission price, will the participant be granted access to the exhibition spaces. The participant must always be able to present these proofs at the request of the staff. The temporary or unexpected accessibility of some exhibition spaces does not entitle you to a refund or reduction of the admission price, unless this is explicitly stated on the website and at the ticket desk of the Water Castle.

Visitor ethics

During the stay in the exhibitions, visitors are expected to adopt an attitude that is in accordance with public order and good morals. The visitor must immediately follow the instructions of authorized staff members. In the event of non-compliance, the visitor can be denied further access, without the visitor being entitled to reimbursement of the costs of the admission ticket or any other costs incurred.

Minors must be accompanied at all times by a responsible parent or adult counselor. Supervisors of minors and / or groups are responsible and accountable for the behavior of persons / groups they supervise.

Visitors are liable for the damage they cause during their visit. They will be obliged to compensate the damage caused.

Safety of people, artworks and buildings

The necessary measures can be taken for every unlawful or irregular event, including the closure of the exhibition space, the entrances and the exits. Such a measure may also mean that the participants present must remain in the room until the authorities are on site.

In the event of excessive public interest, disturbances, calamities, natural and / or other circumstances that could endanger the safety of people, artworks or goods, it may be decided to close the exhibitions partially or completely or to change the opening hours.

Participants may not perform any act that could endanger the safety of the Organization, other participants and property. Any accident, disability of a person or abnormal incident must be reported to the Organization immediately.

Liability of the organization

The visit of the exhibition spaces is at the participant's own risk. Participants waive redress and / or any claim vis-à-vis the Phoebus Foundation, owners, operators and / or their employees (hereinafter the "Organization"). The Organization is therefore not responsible for any accidents, physical or material damage, and / or theft of personal belongings, etc.

The Organization is only liable for damage caused as a result of intent or gross negligence on the part of the quotations, notices or other forms of information provided to the participant.

Complaints

The Organization will do everything possible to ensure that the visit to the exhibition spaces is in accordance with the published offer and will inform the public as well as possible about full, partial or early closure of the themed exhibitions and about circumstances that may influence the visit of the exhibition such as maintenance work, renovations and / or the (re) design of exhibition spaces. This can be done via the website of the Organization.

Complaints and / or suggestions can be submitted via the form at the ticket desk or by e-mail to the Organization [info(at)pikant.vlaanderen]. Complaints must be made within six weeks of the visit to the Organization. Complaints after that period are not accepted and are void. If the complaint is submitted on time and is justified, the reimbursement can consist of a maximum of repayment of the admission ticket.
